Compared to its predecessor, the Silversonic MKVIII doubles the number of surrounding conductor structures around the main core, a design aimed at boosting low-frequency presence. It incorporates our latest tuning architecture: Multi-Layer Collaboration.
The surrounding structure operates independently, creating a layered and distinct listening experience while preventing interference between the low and mid frequencies. This reflects the sound engineer's philosophy: clear separation, detailed clarity, and powerful, full-bodied sound. The high-frequency extension is excellent, blending smoothly with other frequencies to deliver a warm and natural listening experience.
The conductor can be understood as two distinct parts:
- Main Core: Large surface area, shorter length.
- Surrounding Core: Smaller surface area, nearly twice the length of the main core.
Their formulations differ, and their parameters are meticulously calculated. When paired with a system, the Silversonic MKVIII delivers a relaxed and warm sound signature.
In response to customer preferences for more versatile cable colors, we replaced the previous bright blue with a classic silver-and-black braided design. This not only improves visual appeal but also maintains the brand’s design aesthetic while ensuring compatibility with most audio gear—eliminating hesitation over color choices for our entry-level product.
4-wire or 8-wire?
The 4-wire option has the advantages of being more economical and lighter in weight.
The 8-wire option has fuller sound, larger soundstage and punchier bass while still feels amazingly soft and easy to use.
Ear Guides
All of our IEM cables have pre-bent earguides by default. There are no wires inside as the ear guide is shaped by ourheat shrink sleeve to eliminate the possibility of oxidation of the metallic memory wires. If you do not want any ear guide, please contact us.
Length
The default length of our IEM cables is about 1.2 meters, while headphone cables are around 1.5 meters. If other lengths are needed, please contact us for alternative arrangements.
